The renegades of craft convened in Wicker Park this weekend, armed with tarps, galoshes and truckloads of lovely and clever handmade goods. It rained buckets at the Renegade Craft Fair. Lucky for us, Chicago residents (and their dogs) don’t seem to mind lousy weather and we sold all kinds of Skeledog tees for 2 days straight! Plus, we spent the weekend surrounded by inspiring crafters and dog fanatics, including our delightful booth neighbors, Suddenly, it’s real! Despite the downpour, we made lots of new friends, both human and canine.
We love dog lovers, and Division Street was full of them. This tough guy could’ve been the model for our grey pit bull.

By Sunday night the storm finally blew over, leaving us with a magical sunset and a glimpse of what this event might have looked like without all the rain. Even a rainy day at Renegade was an adventure and we’re already looking forward to 2009!

Today, Jon at PupStyle posted a meaty feature on our humble beginnings, claiming that Skeledogs give you x-ray vision. We can’t make any promises about that, but be prepared to attract some intense stares when sporting our tees. Thanks Jon!

Inspired by the friendly crafters at ICE Atlanta, we sent in our application to the mother of all craft fairs, Renegade Chicago. And what do you know, they don’t have enough strange and witty dog tees in their current roster of artists and artisans, so we’re in!

Our “super hip” tees are featured among their round up of new products for the urban dog lover both in the print publication and their blog.
