Hometown Coverage
We were thrilled to spot our skele-poodle in the Easter Sunday edition of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. We were featured on the Style page in practically the same breath as Karl Lagerfeld and Lilly Pulitzer. Long live the newspaper!
The New Barker
The New Barker, Tampa Bay’s “Top Dog Magazine,” featured Skeledog in its Winter issue. I guess Tampa Bay has t-shirt weather year round!
Mutual Appreciation Society
We’re big fans of Decatur-based Paste Magazine (their sampler CDs are on heavy rotation here at Skeledog HQ). So imagine our delight to discover that they’re fans of us! Paste included Skeledog in a roundup of “Eight Funky Fauna Finds.” How nice to be featured among such fine animal art!

Today and Tonight
Well, it’s midnight. Shawn’s on his way to the post office to drop off two big boxes of t-shirt orders. Jason’s just settled down for a long winter’s nap. And I finally have a moment to report on the most phenomenal day in Skeledog’s brief history!
At about 9:45 am, the amazing Dara Foster of PupStyle presented her Holiday Pet Gift Guide on NBC’s Today show, assisted by 2 models wearing Skeledog t-shirts. You can watch the entire segment here. It was surreal to see our handiwork on television. We were screaming and dancing. Which kind of freaked out the dogs.
This was pretty much the closest thing to a live, primetime, Skeledog infomercial you’ll ever see. Dara said: “Put it in a stocking and you’re good to go,” and “You’re guaranteed to be stopped in the street when you’re wearing these.”
At which point, I almost fainted with glee. Meanwhile, the phones start ringing. Congratulations were pouring in. By 10 o’clock, we crashed our dedicated server. Drama! Even with our domain name misspelled onscreen (Skelegdog?), a flood of people rushed the site. The response was astonishing.
Eventually, our server recovered and the orders started piling up. So many people– old friends and new fans– have overwhelmed us with encouraging notes, calls, texts, suggestions and orders. Tonight, Skeledog tees are on their way to new homes in almost every state. We are beyond thrilled to share our tees with Today’s massive audience!

Unbelievable news: Skeledog is coming to a TV near you! Tastemaker Dara Foster of PupStyle is including our tees in her upcoming product review on the Today Show! That’s right: the live-from-New-York, 4 hours of Matt Lauer, ratings dominatin’ morning news show that reaches a national audience of, oh, 14 million viewers a day.
Ms. Foster, style expert and Skeledog fan, is presenting a round up of holiday gifts for pet lovers. Here’s what they did last year:

Right about now you may be asking, how in the world did we did we land that kind of publicity? Are we ready to serve up Skeledogs to the masses of tee-starved holiday shoppers who will be dazzled by our teevee debut? Is the world ready for all that tasty, pet x-ray goodness?
