Scoutmob loves Skeledog

Picture a sunny Saturday in the park, highs in the 70s, bluegrass on stage, beer, chili, and a steady parade of friends. That was last weekend’s Cabbagetown Chomp & Stomp. The air of festivity turned out to be the perfect t-shirt buying elixir, because we sold more tees than any other event in our short history! Maybe lots of people will be giving Skeledog for the holidays. Either way, it was a blast.
Some of our coolest visitors were the youngsters. Kid sizes are a must for 2010. Thanks to all of you who stopped by our tent on Saturday!
This Saturday is the annual Cabbagetown Chomp & Stomp festival! Join us on Saturday for the chili cookoff, bluegrass stage and neighborhood shenanigans. We’ll be in the artist’s market, reminding everyone that holidays are upon us and everyone loves a quirky dog t-shirt. See you there!
The Dog-n-Jog was a blast! We got to Piedmont Park before sunrise on Saturday to set up before the canine chaos commenced. All the 4-legged participants received a brown Skeledog bandana, including these two champs.
We made some new friends, sold some t-shirts, took breed requests and most importantly, raised a ton of cash and awareness for Canine Assistants. $5 from the sale of each shirt went to support this great organization.
Here’s our new buddy, Mister Bigs. Hope we’ll see him and all the lovely racers at this event next fall!
Lace up your running shoes on and join us tomorrow, bright and early, in Piedmont Park for the Atlanta Dog Jog! Skeledog is thrilled to be a sponsor of this year’s event. We’ll be there cheering for both the 2 and 4-legged participants!
We are excited to announce that Skeledog is a presenting sponsor for the upcoming 23rd Annual Atlanta Dog Jog! The orthopedic veterinarians who organize this event fell in love with our skeletized creations and we were thrilled to collaborate on an original skeledog doggie bandana for the race.
The race is run in Piedmont Park on Saturday, October 24. All proceeds benefit Canine Assistants, a great organization that trains dogs for disabled kids and adults. You can sign up to run with your canine champ here. Or just join us for a dog-watching in the park.
Look closely. Can you spot the skeledog?
Our pal David was rocking the Pit Bull at Six Flags. See how much fun you could be having with a Skeledog tee? That guy on his cell phone? Not having fun at all.
Tomorrow’s event at Park Grounds has been cancelled due to the rainy forecast. We were prepared to brave the downpour, but the dog park would be a mudpit with all the extra traffic. Stay tuned for the raincheck…

Join us at our favorite eastside coffee shop Park Grounds this Sunday, 8/2 for “What’s the Buzz,” their monthly celebration of local pet goodness. We’ll be setting up our skeletent in their dog park from 10-2. Between the fine Counter Culture brews and the off-the-leash dog park, we’ll all be hyper to see you there!
This is Sasha. He’s a German engineer, posing in front of a gigantic TBM, or Tunnel Boring Machine that’s currently being refurbished for some serious tunneling in Atlanta. My Dad has been working with the team from Herrenknecht Tunneling Systems from Schwanau, Germany and he thought it would be cool to present them with a unique local souvenir– Skeledog tees!
He chose Dachshunds, of course. They all seemed to appreciate the fine engineering of the original tunneling hound!
