Team Skeledog

Team Skeledog

Who’s this pack of fine looking athletes? This fall, we sponsored a flag football team at GCSU! Thanks in part to their electrifying poodle uniforms, Team Skeledog kicked butt. Here’s the highlights from Lowell (pictured center, with the goatee):

Our team scored 178 points in 5 games, and only gave up 6 points during the regular season. We ran the classic double quarterback Offense, with a tenacious 2-4-2 Defense. Interesting note: We had a female center and middle linebacker.

Congratulations on a great season! Thanks for representing on the field and on campus. Raspberry looks good on you.

New sizes available

 Girlie Medium German Shepherd

Good news for those who like their skeledog snug– by popular demand, all our breeds are now available in Girlie Medium! Like most American Apparel tees, they run small. As the smallest size in our lineup, they’re perfect for our petite lady friends and a few third graders we know.

ICE Atlanta Holiday 2008

We haven’t even carved our pumpkins yet, and it’s already time to start thinking about Christmas shopping… Thankfully, the well-timed Indie Craft Experience has something magically crafty for everyone on your list, including Atlanta’s finest skeleton dog t-shirts.

Come see the Skeledog “booth” and frolic among the region’s best crafters, Saturday, November 15 from 11am to 6pm.

This indoor event will be in a new location this year: Ambient Plus Studio in the West End. And we’ve got the east side covered the weekend before at the Cabbagetown Chomp & Stomp. So much good stuff in the ATL this fall… join us, won’t you?

 Cleo the Dachshund

What could be cuter than a dachshund convention?
A bunch of doxies in Halloween costumes, of course.

Last weekend, Charles and Foxie, the original skeledogs, attended HOWL-O-WEENIE 2008, a day of dachshund-gawking, bluegrass, costumes, tail-wagging and face-kissing contests sponsored by DREAM (an Atlanta dachshund Rescue group).

Foxie took second place in her wiener dog race. And Highland Pet Supply was on hand with a big batch of skeledog dachshunds for sale.

If you missed the spectacle, we’ll be back in Cabbagetown Park on Saturday, November 8 for the Chomp & Stomp festival. We can’t promise as many wiener dogs, but the music, 5K and Chili cookoff will be awesome. See you there!
