Weird in a good way

Katrina at T-shirts Around the Internet was kind enough to show off the Poodle and Dachshund skeledogs today. A self-confessed “cat person,” even she couldn’t resist our canine goodness. Check out her blog and you’ll see that we’re in good company. Thanks, Kat!

Bulk rawhide for the soul

 Internet Pets Banner

Julie at i-pets.com gave us a shoutout on her blog today!  She’s always rooting around for fun and hard-to-find items for pets and their worshippers owners and we’re glad our tees struck her fancy. Check out her gallery of happy customers tearing into their rawhide deliveries. Thanks Julie!

Tee connoisseurs indeed

 Fantastic Bonanza masthead

Just saw that Skeledog got an honorable mention from the t-shirt junkies at Fantastic Bonanza! We’re stoked to be included in their weekly roundup. It’s always great to see our tees crossover from pet-friendly to mainstream sites. High fives all around!

Not your granny’s craft fair

Indie Craft Experience Atlanta

Mark your calendars for ICE-Atlanta on June 7th in Centennial Olympic Park! Skeledog was selected to be one of the 100 awesome vendors who make this event one of the most hotly anticipated art events in town.

Every summer, downtown Atlanta gets a punch of witty, unexpected design from independent artists from all over the nation. Our electrified, x-ray vision, see-thru bony dog tees will fit right in!

The Resurrection of Young Blood

 Young Blood Gallery Boutique

We are excited to be part of the rebirth of Atlanta’s unofficial indie design headquarters, Young Blood Gallery and Boutique! For a decade, YBG has been showcasing emerging artists, independent designers and crafters from a small storefront in East Atlanta. Now they have a fancy new space in the pedestrian- (and dog-) friendly Virginia Highlands neighborhood. The boutique will feature all the skeledog breeds alongside racks of clever posters, zines, fashions, artwork and other goodies. Check out the goods at the Grand Re-opening party on May 10th!

Something to bark about

Barkability Blog

Woo hoo! Today we got some blog love from the folks at Barkability.com. Thanks guys! Our tees are turning heads with their slightly weird, slightly humorous take on dog worship. Check out their other fun and funky pet product recommendations here.

Coming soon to Kirkwood

Kirkwood Fling image

Hey y’all, come see our tent at the Kirkwood Fling on Saturday, May 17!

It’s Springtime in Atlanta and that means pollen, azaleas and neighborhood festivals every weekend. Our tees were a hit with the Humane Society crowd, surrounded by pet products and services… how will we fare in a open air artist’s market?

Kirkwood is a charming, historic neighborhood on the eastside of Atlanta. We’re thinking this dog-loving community will be a great test market for our sense of doggie style. One of the festival organizers is already petitioning for a special edition skele-corgi!

Legions of marching pooches

Today we got up extra early and pitched a tent in the drizzle in Candler Park. Our vendor tent was between a Pit Bull rescue organization and a Pug adoption group. Despite the April showers, there was a huge turnout for the AHS Pet Parade.goldenpup.jpg

Our t-shirts definitely got a reaction! We sold a bunch of skeledogs and attracted many gawkers. Here’s Shawn, converting the masses. mayleshawn.jpg

We also gathered a lot of information for our next run of shirts. For example, we need to launch a pit bull skeledog, asap. pit.jpg

Also, bassets are high on the list… bassetts.jpg

(This guy had a t-shirt that said, “I Love Cats.”)  Lots of friends, piles of t-shirts and hundreds of dogs… once the sun came out, it was like heaven!

Pet Parade

Pet Parade

So we are busily preparing for our first festival event and official product launch: AHS’s Pet Parade on April 12 in Candler Park! We’ll be selling shirts alongside lots of fun vendors and their mobile animal adoption unit. The pet parade should be a fun spectacle.
